Welcome...

It's an honor to represent the communities of Hayward, Union City, Newark, Fremont and Sunol on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. Serving you is a privilege, and I'm committed to bringing more resources to the district and breaking down the disconnect between constituents and government.

It's important that county residents know what services the county provides and have access to those resources. Among other things, the Board of Supervisors is responsible for exercising executive and administrative authority over departments, approving contracts and appointing department heads. The county provides many services to the community, including providing health care and mental health services, maintaining flood control channels, providing court services, conducting elections and assessing and collecting property taxes. More information on county departments can be found here.

Please use this website to learn more about what my office is working on. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or issues to discuss, or if you'd like to share your ideas to make the county more efficient and effective. I'd love to hear from you.

With respect,

Nadia Lockyer
Alameda County Supervisor,
Second District
