  • 04/28/2017  Castro Valley Book Fair(558KB)  Come and meet more than 30 local authors of fiction and nonfiction books at the Castro Valley Library's Book Fair on Saturday, May 6 from 1 - 4 p.m. The keynote speaker is best-selling author Lisa See and will take place at 11:30 a.m. via Skype.
  • 04/28/2017  Tri-Valley Health Initiative Health Fair(525KB)  The Health Fair takes place on April 29 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at 4444 Railroad Ave., Pleasanton. It is free and open to the community. There will be physical exams, vision screenings, dental screenings, cultural entertainment, and resource tables.

The Tri-Valley Air Quality Impact Award recognizes individuals, businesses and organizations making strides to improve local air quality through innovative projects.
  • 02/01/2017  Funding for Earthquake Retrofit - Oakland Homeowners  Earthquake-Safe Homes Program (ESHP) for Owner-Occupied Homes: Property must be a single family home or 2-4 units and MUST be the primary residence of the homeowner. ESHP single-family applications are due February 17, 2017.
  • 02/01/2017  Safer Housing for Oakland- "Soft Story" Rental Property Seismic Retrofit Grant Program  The Safer Housing for Oakland Program offers grants to rental property owners to finance seismic retrofits of soft-story buildings in Oakland. Grants cover 75% of total allowable costs and the required owner match is 25%*. Applications are due Feb. 24.
