Alzheimer Services of the East Bay
The mission of Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay (ASEB) is to provide services to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia; provide support for their caregivers; and educate and inform the general community about issues related to dementia care.
Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program
The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) is a statewide program which is administered locally by the Alameda County Area Agency on Aging. Since 1988 LAS has been selected to provide HICAP services in Alameda County.

Together LAS and HICAP provide objective counseling, advocacy and legal assistance with Medicare, Medicare HMOs, Medicare supplemental insurance, and long-term care insurance. HICAP provides these services to Medicare beneficiaries of any age.

HICAP also educates the public on Medicare and health insurance issues with presentations throughout Alameda County.
