MCC Requirements
- Buyers may not have owned a principal residence within
the last three years.
- Buyer's total household income may not exceed $82,200
for 1 or 2 person household; or $94,530 for a 3 or more person household
- Buyer's must live in the house purchased with an MCC-assisted
mortgage.
- Properties must be new or existing single-family homes
or duplexes only including detached homes, mobile homes, condominiums, townhouses.
- The purchase price may not exceed:
$543,617 for new units (never previously occupied) or $$526,123 for existing
single family units (resale)
- In the City of Berkeley, MCC-assisted purchases
cannot displace any current tenants.
