Felony Arraignments Moved Back to Oakland

North County felony arraignments were moved back to the Wiley Manuel Courthouse in Oakland on September 25, 2017. The Alameda County Public Defender’s Office worked in collaboration with local organizations, politicians and national defenders to fight this issue and bring access to justice back to Oakland. Special thanks go to the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights for developing and distributing a petition to help reverse this action.
