THE POSITION(S):
Under direction, on a part-time, intermittent or consultative basis, Physician II (Services-as-Needed) provide specialized professional medical services as required in a County facility; and do related work as required.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
These are entrance requirements to apply for the position. Possession of the entrance requirements does not assure employment with Alameda County.

LICENSE:
Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in California.

EXPERIENCE:
Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate medical specialty.

The application process consists of a review of candidates’ applications to verify possession of minimum qualifications. The applications of those candidates who possess the minimum qualifications for the class will be forwarded to the Public Health Department for consideration.
