- Associated Community Action Program (ACAP)
The mission of Community Action is to create opportunities for low-income persons and communities to become more economically self-sufficient. - Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (MCC)
An MCC provides the income eligible buyer with an opportunity to reduce the amount of federal income tax otherwise due. This effectively assists a family in qualifying for a higher first mortgage, with no effect on monthly expenses. - Household and Small Business Hazardous Waste Collection Program
The disposal of household or hazardous waste generated "at home" is available as a drop in service for most of the program's operating hours. - Children's Memorial Flag Program
Medical / Health
- Lead Poisoning Prevention Program
The Lead Poisoning Prevention Program works with local and statewide organizations to educate the community about the dangers of lead poisoning. - Medically Indigent Adult (MIA) Medication Program
On a large scale, this program works with the drug companies indigent care drug programs for our clients without third party coverage (usually MediCal). - Public Health Programs
The Public Health Department offers many programs to Alameda County citizens.

- Bay Area Green Business Program
The Bay Area Green Business Program recognizes businesses and government agencies that operate in an environmentally responsible way. - Contractor Bonding Assistance Program
Alameda County, in partnership with Merriwether & Williams Insurance Services, launched a countywide Contractor Bonding Assistance Program (CBAP) to assist County construction contractors struggling in these tough economic times. - Small, Local & Emerging Business Program (SLEB)
The purpose of the SLEB program is to provide incentives for Alameda County to assist SLEB's in enhancing their participation in public contracts and purchases awards.
