Construction Division

Provides Construction Management for Capital Improvement Program and Maintenance Projects

The Construction Division is responsible for Construction Management of Road and Flood Control Capital Improvement Program and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance of construction encroachments for the public and flood control district right of way, inspection and investigation of County systems and facilities, and providing Agency-wide construction contract compliance for the Public Works Agency.

The Division administers advertisement and award of construction contracts, inspects and tests materials, processes payments and submits requests for reimbursement to appropriate local, State and Federal agencies.

Contract Compliance

Supports economic growth by creating a "level playing field" for Small , Local, and Emerging Business (SLEB) enterprises and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) pursuing contracting, subcontracting, and procurement opportunities; ensures firms abide by the applicable public contract codes and Agency specifications; and enforces labor code regulations.
